High-sodium, low-boron frit; Fusion's listed equivalent of Vibrantz 3110 and the closest of these matches: every oxide is within 0.26 points of 3110-2 (Ferro 2008). It flows slightly more and has lower surface tension.
Oxide analysis and unity formula
Glazecalc has the analysis of Fusion Frit F-75 as weight percent of the raw material. The unity contribution is the moles of each oxide in the amount of Fusion Frit F-75 that holds 1.0 mole of flux, which is how Glazecalc adds it into a recipe's unity formula.
| Oxide | Weight % | Unity contribution |
|---|---|---|
| CaO | 6.4 | 0.298 |
| K₂O | 2.1 | 0.058 |
| Na₂O | 15.3 | 0.644 |
| B₂O₃ | 2.5 | 0.094 |
| Al₂O₃ | 3.7 | 0.095 |
| SiO₂ | 70 | 3.040 |
- Equivalent weight
- 260.91
- Fired weight
- 260.91
- Loss on ignition
- 0%
The equivalent weight is the grams of Fusion Frit F-75 that hold 1.0 mole of flux. The fired weight is what is left of that after firing.
Hazards and safety
Hazards: Non-hazardous glass powder per supplier SDS; avoid breathing dust.
Use it in a recipe
